Privacy Policy

When you use AppTester.co, we collect the following information:

**Account data:** Name, email address, and password when you create an account.

**App files:** APK, AAB, IPA, and other app files you upload for testing. These are stored securely and shared only with assigned testers.

**Payment data:** Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number. We retain billing email and transaction IDs for record-keeping.

**Usage data:** Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns: collected via privacy-respecting analytics to improve the product.

**Tester application data:** Device information, location, availability, and application responses submitted by tester applicants.

We use collected information to:

— Fulfil your test orders and deliver reports to your email address — Match builders with appropriate testers based on platform and device requirements — Process payments via Stripe — Send transactional emails (order confirmation, report delivery, account notifications) — Improve our platform and fix bugs — Prevent fraud and abuse

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your app files for any purpose other than delivering your requested testing service.

**Testers:** When you submit an app for testing, the app file and your test brief (notes) are shared with assigned testers. Your name and email are not shared. Testers see only the app file, test type, and any notes you provide.

**Service providers:** We use trusted third-party services including Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (CDN and security), and Resend (email delivery). Each provider has their own privacy policy.

**Legal requirements:** We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

**App files:** Uploaded app files are retained for 30 days after test completion, then permanently deleted.

**Test reports:** Reports are retained for 12 months and accessible from your dashboard.

**Account data:** Retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

**Payment records:** Retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.

You have the right to:

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We use analytics cookies (privacy-preserving, no cross-site tracking) to understand how the product is used.

— TLS encryption for all data in transit — AES-256 encryption for data at rest — Access controls limiting who can access user data — Regular security audits

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. If a breach occurs that affects your data, we will notify you within 72 hours.
